Friday was supposed to be sunny but a little cooler, so I decided it would be the perfect day to go. I got up at dark o’clock and headed over to Decorah. The Mississippi Flyway goes right through the heartland of North America starting in central Canada and running to the area near the Gulf of Mexico. As the name suggests, it follows the 2,530-mile Mississippi River.
